EVENT TEAM BENEFITS
Volunteering at our events will offer a unique insight into their organisation and logistics, as well as witnessing first-hand what each participant experiences. The work required to deliver these events requires the utmost commitment but is without doubt highly rewarding!
All Event Team volunteer opportunities are unpaid*. You can build up Event Credits to use towards entry to other APEX Running events (please note, UTS is now owned by UTMB, so only credits earnt at UTS can redeemed against a future UTS entry and similarly, credits earnt at a non-UTS event cannot be redeemed against a UTS entry), or for purchasing other shop items. Our 2024 Event Credit rate is £12/hr, please keep a record of hours worked during your volunteering. Were possible, we will offer some event-related merch as a token thank you for your commitment of time and effort.
To encourage non-runners to volunteer on an annual basis, Event Credits may be transferred to another runner upon request, at the sole discretion of the Race Director. Event Credits must be redeemed towards an event within 24 months of the event they were earnt at.
Main meals (breakfast, packed lunch, dinner) will be provided, as well as parking/campervan/tent space as a minimum. At certain events, bunkhouse accommodation will be available on a first come, first serve basis upon request (please indicate in response to the relevant question in the signup form).

SKYRUN THE MOURNES 2024: 11th – 12th OCTOBER
Want to help make SkyRun the Mournes a reality? Great! Ideally, you will be able to commit to the full weekend (Fri 09:00 – Sat 23:00), but certain roles will suit those with less available time. The signup form for the ALL ROLES is online HERE.

SKYRUN ERYRI 2025: 20th – 21st JUNE

*For Mountain Safety Team roles at this event, our current rate of pay is £150 for any role that is <8hrs, followed by £15/hr thereafter.
